Working on my birthday.  Again.

And it's raining.  Boo, April in England.

What do you think the odds are that I'll meet some tall strapping Greek boy at the wedding next week?  And he'll fall madly in love with me and carry me off on his... donkey?

Alright, so maybe not the most romantic of propositions, but I'm starting to feel a bit desperate it's a thought.

Is it just me, or has this year gone by very quickly so far?

We're three weeks into the quidditch season, and it's been madness each Saturday thanks to the Wiz-Viz.  I'm not sure that Tom's quite come around on it yet, but if the numbers stay the way they have all season, I'm sure he will.  You've all been brilliant at keeping everything running smoothly- well, aside from the Montrose fight last week.

I'm famous!  Well, alright, probably not really, but it's still pretty ace to see my name in print, I think.  "Genial young witch"?  It's all true, besides, and I hope people will come down on Saturday to see it in action!

So, I'm moving out of the Leaky.  I know it probably seems sudden, but working four shifts in two days earlier this week was the proverbial straw to the camel's back.  I've found a flat-share with Alicia Spinnet.  Turns out she's actually Tom's granddaughter, though that's coincidence enough- she was just advertising in the journals of needing a flat-mate.  The flat's even in Diagon Alley, so I can still walk to work.  It should be an adventure, and at least it'll mean no more Tom knocking on my door at 6am.

I have officially seen my best friend in a wedding dress.  I will admit it, I cried like a small child.  She is going to be the most beautiful bride ever.

But I must interrupt this pre-wedding weepiness for an announcement:

LEAKY KARAOKE THIS FRIDAY!
That's right, it's that time again.  Half-priced drinks from the bar if you tell them I sent you, 7-10pm, and the mic opens up at 8pm.  I expect to see you all there, no exceptions, no excuses.
